white silicone caulk for bathtub

I am using a oil filter wrench to grab the flange from under the sink. Bought a new construction house in 2008. I don’t want to damage the marble walls. The caulk isn’t “melting”, but the guy who did it did a horrible job and it’s really uneven and looks terrible. I tried using a flat scrapper but there doesn’t seem to be anything to scrape.
